On the exact day of the 100th anniversary of the formation of Czechoslovakia, the Czech Philharmonic will perform on the most prestigious American stage – in the Carnegie Hall in New York. Here, under the leadership of world-renowned conductor Semyon Bychkov and together with the Prague Philharmonic Choir, it will perform the monumental 2nd Symphony, “Resurrection”, by Czech native Gustav Mahler. The Czech Philharmonic will also perform the same programme in the Rudolfinum in Prague, on the 10th and 11th of October 2018, as part of its opening concerts of the 2018/2019 season.
